Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC)

The Dharavi Sewage Treatment Plant is a Rs 4,636 crore flagship BMC project developed by Welspun Enterprises, currently at 65% physical progress with a commissioning target of July 2027. As India’s first multi-storey wastewater facility, it utilizes advanced Sequential Batch Reactor (SBR) technology to treat 418 MLD, including a 209 MLD tertiary unit for water recycling.
