POWERGRID invites bids for 6 GW solar evacuation HVDC line

Power Grid Corporation of India has invited bids to establish a transmission system for evacuating 6 GW of solar power from the Rajasthan Renewable Energy Zone Phase IV. The project includes development of a ±800 kV HVDC Bipole transmission line between Barmer-II in Rajasthan and South Kalamb in Maharashtra.
