Tapi Irrigation Development Corporation proposes the Bodwad Parisar Sinchan Yojana, a major irrigation project in Taluka Bodwad, District Jalgaon, Maharashtra. The project involves lifting 198.54 Mcum of water from the Purna River near Khamkheda Bridge, Muktainagar, to be stored in Junone and Jamthi reservoirs. The project is to be implemented in two phases: Phase I includes construction of the Junone Storage Reservoir with a capacity of 120.78 Mcum with water lifted in two stages, and Phase II involves construction of the Jamthi Storage Reservoir with a capacity of 42.91 Mcum, supplied from the Junone Dam distribution tank. The proposal is submitted for environmental clearance.
