Sponge Iron and Captive Power Plant Expansion

Omat West has proposed expansion involving sponge iron production exceeding 200 TPD along with installation of a captive power plant of 80 MW comprising 30 MW WHRB and 50 MW CFBC units. The project also includes development of an industrial shed with a built-up area of 17.992 hectares. Environmental clearance is sought for the proposed expansion project.
