Akshara Industries Private Limited plans to expand its operations at Survey No. 225/1C1A and 225/1C2, Eguvaripalayam Village, GummdiPoondi Taluk, Thiruvallur District, Tamil Nadu. The expansion includes installing an additional 1 x 200 TPD Sponge Iron Plant alongside existing 2 x 100 TPD units, aiming for a total production of 1,44,000 TPA Sponge Iron. Additionally, a new Secondary Steel Plant will be set up, featuring 3 Electric Induction Furnaces producing 1,48,500 TPA of Steel Billets (SMS), a Rolling Mill with an output of 1,33,650 TPA, and a Waste Heat Recovery Power Plant (WHRB) generating 10 MW.
