Kanpur Metro Advances Construction on Corridor-1 Ramp Area

Construction progress on Corridor-1 (IIT Kanpur to Naubasta) of the Kanpur Metro Rail Project sees the commencement of Metro track installation near Brijendra Swaroop Park. This area links the Priority Corridor (IIT-Motijheel) to the underground section. Following the successful erection of a 45-metre steel span over Sisamau drain in April at MacRobertganj, track construction now spans the 600-metre ramp area. The up-line track from Chunniganj to Nayaganj stations is complete, with ongoing extension towards McRobertganj ramp area.
