OIL and NRL to Establish Bio-Gas Plants in North-East India

On May 25th, Maharatna PSU OIL and Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) announced plans to set up 8 to 10 compressed bio-gas (CBG) plants in Assam and other North-East states. This green initiative aims to create wealth from waste while addressing waste management issues in the region’s towns and cities. The project underscores their commitment to sustainable development and environmental conservation in the North East Region.
