JSPL Achieves Milestone with Commissioning of 6 Million TPA Hot Strip Mill in Odisha

Jindal Steel & Power (JSPL) has successfully commissioned a six million tonnes per annum (tpa) hot strip mill at its steel manufacturing facility in Angul, Odisha. This accomplishment marks a significant stride in JSPL’s ongoing expansion project, aiming to enhance the integrated steel plant’s capacity from six million tpa to 25.2 million tpa in Kerjang village, Chhendipada, Angul district. The extensive project also encompasses the development of a 36-million tpa underground slurry pipeline in three phases and the establishment of a 12.5 million tpa cement plant.
