Telangana Plans Joint Venture with Centre for 70 km Hyderabad Metro Phase-II

The Telangana government is planning Hyderabad Metro Phase-II, covering about 70 km, as a joint venture with the Centre after the unsuccessful PPP model of Phase-I. The project will involve securing loans from international agencies like JICA and ADB, with the Centre providing sovereign guarantees. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has prioritized the project, aiming to lay the foundation around Dasara if plans proceed smoothly.
