IRCON Awarded Systems Package for Mumbai Metro Line-5

Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority has awarded IRCON International Limited the contract for Package CA-239, Line-5 of the Mumbai Metro Project. The scope includes design, supply, installation, and commissioning of a 220 kV receiving substation, associated cabling (220kV, 33kV, 25kV), 25kV overhead catenary system, switching station, auxiliary power distribution systems, SCADA, E&M works, lifts, and escalators for the main line, stations, and Kasheli Depot. The contract includes five years of maintenance after a two-year defect liability period.
