Kanpur Metro Completes Double T-Girder Installation on Elevated Section

Engineers working on the Kanpur Metro have successfully installed all 264 Double T-girders along the 5km-long Baradevi-Naubasta elevated section, part of Corridor-1 from IIT to Naubasta. The final installation was completed at Baudh Nagar station, marking the conclusion of girder erection at all five stations in the section. Each station—Baradevi, Kidwai Nagar, Vasant Vihar, Baudh Nagar, and Naubasta—will feature these girders supporting the concourse, with 52 at the first three stations and 54 at the last two.
