Centre Fast-Tracks ?1,259 Crore NH-47 Project to Ease Ahmedabad Traffic

The Centre has expedited the Rs 1,259 crore NH-47 project to improve traffic flow in Ahmedabad. Aimed at enhancing connectivity between Kolhapur and Sangli in Maharashtra, the project will cost INR 864 crores. The Network Planning Group under PM GatiShakti has optimized the ?1,295 crore brownfield project to upgrade a 10.63 km section of NH-47, addressing traffic congestion in southern Ahmedabad and improving links to major highways and expressways.
