Coimbatore Airport Expansion Gets Land Handover Boost

Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati recently announced that 451 acres of patta land and 20.58 acres of poramboke land have been handed over to the Airports Authority of India (AAI) for the airport expansion project. The government will sign an MoU for the remaining 134.75 acres of defense land to facilitate the project’s commencement, while Coimbatore MP Ganapathi P Rajkumar urged the central government to expedite the remaining approvals.
