SSAB Energy and Minerals Limited is planning to expand its 1.2 MTPA (Million Tonnes Per Annum) Iron Ore Beneficiation Plant to a final capacity of 2.4 MTPA. The expansion project also includes the establishment of a 1.2 MTPA Pellet Plant, a 0.396 MTPA DRI (Direct Reduced Iron) Plant, a 2×9 MVA SAF (Submerged Arc Furnace) Ferro Alloys Plant, six 4500 Nm³/hr Producer Gas Plants, and a 48 MW Captive Power Plant (comprising a 28 MW Waste Heat Recovery Boiler and a 20 MW Circulating Fluidized Bed Combustion unit) at Village Dhanurjayapur, Tehsil Horomoto, District Keonjhar, Odisha.
