ACME Secures 275 MW Battery Storage Projects with NHPC

ACME Solar Holdings Private Limited

ACME Solar Holdings has signed Battery Energy Storage Purchase Agreements (BESPA) with NHPC for two standalone BESS projects totaling 275 MW/550 MWh in Andhra Pradesh. Awarded via e-reverse auction on June 24, 2025, the tariffs are Rs. 2.10 lakh/MW/month for the 50 MW/100 MWh system and Rs. 2.22 lakh/MW/month for the 225 MW/450 MWh system. These projects are supported by Viability Gap Funding of Rs. 27 lakh/MWh or 30% of the project cost, whichever is lower.
