Adani Defence partners Embraer to set up regional jet assembly line in India

Adani Defence & Aerospace has partnered with Brazils Embraer to establish Indias first private-sector Final Assembly Line (FAL) for regional commercial jets, with Dholera, Gujarat emerging as the likely location, while Bhogapuram, Andhra Pradesh is also under consideration. The joint venture will focus on assembling 70150 seat regional aircraft, including the E-Jet E2 family, aimed at strengthening regional connectivity across Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. The facility is expected to take 34 years to become operational, with the first aircraft rollout targeted within five years.
