Andhra Pradesh launches biogas plant projects strengthening North Andhra energy infrastructure

Andhra Pradesh has initiated biogas projects in Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts, developed by PVS Rammohann Industries at a combined cost of Rs. 102 crore. The plants will process 50 tonnes of agricultural waste per day to generate power, enhancing decentralised clean-energy capacity in North Andhra. The infrastructure aims to utilise local biomass resources and expand district-level renewable-energy assets.
