Andhra Pradesh reviews progress of key infrastructure projects

The Andhra Pradesh government has reported that over 50 percent of the Bandaru Port project at Machilipatnam has been completed at a cost of Rs 1,760 crore, with the remaining work scheduled for completion by December. In the past year, road construction and repair works worth Rs 3,380 crore have been undertaken across the state, including Rs 33 crore covering 166 km in the Machilipatnam constituency. Road repairs and pothole filling have cost Rs 1,081 crore statewide, with Krishna district accounting for repairs on 1,518 km of roads. The Gilakaladindi fishing harbour project, despite technical delays, remains on track for completion.
