Arunachal Pradesh approves Namchik-Namphuk coal mining lease

Arunachal Pradesh has granted a 30-year mining lease for the Namchik-Namphuk coal mine in Changlang district to Guwahati-based Coal Pulz. Approved by the Centre, the block was auctioned under the Coal Mines (Special Provisions) Act, 2015, and Mines and Mineral (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957.
