Ashok Leyland’s OHM Global Mobility Secures Order for 500 Electric Buses in Chennai

Ashok Leyland’s subsidiary, OHM Global Mobility, has received an order for 500 ultra-low floor electric buses from Chennai’s Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC). The buses, supplied by another subsidiary, Switch Mobility, will include 400 non-AC and 100 AC models. Designed to accommodate 37 seated and 24 standing passengers, these buses feature a range of over 200 km per charge and will be operated and maintained by OHM for 12 years.
