Ayodhya to Receive 40% of Its Power from 40 MW Solar Plant

Ayodhya is set to meet 40% of its energy needs through a newly established 40 MW solar plant, benefiting 50,000 homes with solar connections. Recently approved by the state cabinet, the plant spans 165 acres and has been built at a cost of ?200 crore. The solar facility will generate 70.08 million units of green energy annually, producing around 2.5 to 3 lakh units of electricity daily. This project is a significant step toward sustainable energy solutions in the region, reducing reliance on traditional power sources.
