The Badagaon Pumped Storage Project has been proposed as an off stream closed loop scheme with an installed capacity of 1000 MW near Village Badagaon, Tehsil Teonthar, District Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. The project involves construction of new upper and lower reservoirs, with initial water requirement proposed from the Belan River. The proposal has been submitted for environmental clearance.
