Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP)

BBMP aims to finish the 18-km tunnel road project between Hebbal and Silk Board in three years. The tender for civic works is set for January 2025. Rodic Consultants, responsible for the Rs 9.5 crore Detailed Project Report (DPR), recently submitted it. The DPR recommends deploying six tunnel boring machines (TBMs), with traffic management plan prepared by Altinok consultancy. The project’s timeline depends on the number and deployment locations of the TBMs.
