Bengaluru Plans New Zonal Drainage Master Plan with World Bank

The Greater Bengaluru Authority is drafting a new Zonal Drainage Master Plan under the World Bank-supported Water Resilient Project. The initiative aims to create an integrated flood management blueprint combining stormwater and sewage networks. Collaboration with IISc, IIT Madras, CSTEP, and WELL Labs will guide the plan’s data-driven design. The project will use citizen participation and real-time data mapping to ensure measurable outcomes tied to World Bank funding milestones.
