BHEL secures order for 800 MW Ukai thermal power plant

Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL)

BHEL has won an crore order from Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Ltd (GSECL) to set up an 800 MW supercritical thermal power unit at Ukai in Tapi district, Gujarat. The project, awarded under international competitive bidding, will be executed on an EPC basis and is expected to commence commercial operations within 54 months.
