Bihar Launches Rs. 17,000 Crore Road Projects Along Ganga River

The Bihar government will develop three major road projects under the hybrid annuity model with a total cost of Rs. 17,000 crore. The projects include Digha–Sherpur–Bihta–Koilwar (35.65 km, Rs. 6,495.79 crore), Munger–Bariyarpur–Ghorghat–Sultanganj (42 km, Rs. 5,119.80 crore), and Sultanganj–Bhagalpur–Sabour (41.33 km, Rs. 4,849.83 crore). These routes will enhance connectivity, reduce travel time, and promote tourism along the Ganga river corridor. Tenders have been awarded, and the work will start soon.
