Biofertiliser Unit Set Up in Bilaspur for Eco-Farming

A biofertiliser production unit and lab have been established in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, with technical support from BBAU-Lucknow under a DST-SEED initiative. The facility, set up in collaboration with Manav Vikas Sansthan, will produce microbial-based biofertilisers using strains like Trichoderma, Pseudomonas, and Bacillus. These eco-friendly products aim to boost sustainable agriculture in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh, empowering rural farming communities and improving crop yields.
