BMC invites bids for Mithi River revamp Phase 3
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC)
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has floated tenders for the third phase of the Mithi River revamp project, aimed at preventing sewage entry and flooding. The ?2,300 crore project includes constructing 6.7 km of protective walls, deepening a 300-metre river stretch, developing a 6.42-km service road, and an 8.85-km promenade. It also involves sewage diversion, walkway construction, and floodgate development between CST bridge at Kurla and Mahim Creek.
