Capital Dredging Projects Proposed at Dr. Ambedkar and Bharathi Docks

Chennai Port Trust has sought environmental clearance for capital dredging works at two locations: 1) Dr. Ambedkar Dock Basin, extending the existing turning circle by 200 meters from its current 392-meter diameter, and 2) Bharathi Dock, where the existing turning circle will be extended by 560 meters in length and widened by 50 meters.
