Maharashtra Government Approves Construction of Jetties for Water Transport Project

The Maharashtra state government has issued approval for the construction of four jetties at Dombivli, Kolshet, Mira-Bhayandar, and Kalher, amounting to ?119 crore, for the Kalyan-Vasai water transport project under the Sagar Mala initiative. Additionally, ?229 crore has been sanctioned for a new jetty at the Radio Club near the Gateway of India. The breakdown of approved funds includes ?24.99 crore for Dombivli Jetty, ?36.66 crore for Kolshet Jetty, ?30 crore for Mira-Bhayandar Jetty, and ?27.72 crore for Kalher Jetty.
