Chandigarh–Ambala Greenfield Corridor nears completion

The Rs 3,167-crore Chandigarh–Ambala Greenfield Corridor, spanning 61.23 km over 395 hectares, is nearing completion to ease congestion in Chandigarh, Zirakpur, Panchkula, Mohali, and Kharar while improving connectivity to Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir. Package-2 (31.23 km) Mohali–Kurali bypass is 95% complete, costing Rs 1,525.3 crore and set to open by September 30. Package-1 (30 km) links Devinagar to IT City Chowk with seven flyovers, 19 underpasses, eight bridges, and 43.42 km of service roads, due by March 31, 2026.
