Chilla Elevated Road and Extension Project Advances in Delhi–Noida Corridor

New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA)

The 5.96 km Chilla Elevated Road project connecting Mayur Vihar (Delhi) to Mahamaya Flyover (Noida) is under construction by MG Contractors, with work resuming in early 2025 after delays. The project cost has been revised to approximately Rs. 800 crore with funding support from the Uttar Pradesh government and Noida Authority. Additionally, a 2 km extension is planned to connect Sector-94 roundabout and Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, involving construction above the Delhi Metro Magenta Line requiring specialised engineering coordination.
