CMC Plans Structural Rehabilitation and NDT Study for Bharatnagar Flyover

Cyberabad Municipal Corporation has finalized plans to execute a detailed technical and scientific stability study for the 30-year-old Bharatnagar Flyover (RoB). The corporation will engage consultants to perform non-destructive testing (NDT) at a minimum of 900 points using digital technologies like LIDAR, terrestrial laser scanning, and Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV). The study will address reinforcement rusting, expansion joints, and bearing distress to plan comprehensive retrofitting and rehabilitation methodologies.
