CORE Energy Systems Secures Rs 200 Crore for Nuclear, Defence Expansion

CORE Energy Systems, based in Mumbai, has raised Rs 200 crore to strengthen India’s nuclear and defence manufacturing capabilities. The funding will support expansion in infrastructure, manufacturing, and R&D. The company aims to accelerate work on Small Modular Reactor and Bharat Modular Reactor programs under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. CORE is also refurbishing the Tarapur nuclear plant and plans to scale defence subsystem production with global technology partnerships.
