The Delhi government is set to increase the capacity of state-run hospitals by nearly 1,300 beds, with the construction of additional blocks at four facilities expected to be completed within two months. These include Acharya Shree Bhikshu Hospital in Moti Nagar, Dada Dev Hospital at Dabri Morh, Guru Gobind Singh Hospital, and Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital in Mangolpuri. Originally launched in 2019-2020, the projects faced delays due to funding issues but are now in the final stages of completion.
