GMDC is seeking environmental clearance for the EFG Valia Lignite Block, an opencast lignite mining project with a rated capacity of 5 MTPA over an area of 3011.43 ha. The project spans multiple villages, including Choramla, Itakla, Jabugam, Rajgargh, Singla, Sodgam, Umargam, Vandariya, and others in Valia Taluka, Bharuch district, Gujarat.
