Evonith Steel (formerly Uttam Value Steel) plans to raise capacity from 1.4 MTPA to 3.5 MTPA at its Wardha (Maharashtra) facility with an investment of Rs. 5,500–6,000 crore over three years. Funding will include internal accruals, debt, and an IPO. The company has recently commissioned a 0.3 MTPA ductile iron pipe plant.
