Expansion of Integrated Steel Plant in Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh

Environmental clearance is sought for the expansion of an integrated steel plant in villages Kopedih and Anjora, Tehsil & District Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh. The project involves increasing the finished steel production capacity from 0.4785 MTPA to 0.9285 MTPA and crude steel production capacity from 0.466 MTPA to 2.012 MTPA. The plant’s area will also be expanded from 38.68 hectares to 84.021 hectares to accommodate the increased production capacity.
