The UP government has appointed the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) as the nodal agency for the feasibility study of the orbital rail project, integral to the NCR Planning Board’s 2041 regional plan. This corridor is set to connect with the rapid rail corridor near Duhai, aiming to enhance seamless passenger and freight movement across NCR cities including Ghaziabad, Baghpat, Noida, and Greater Noida.
