Fortis Healthcare to acquire Shrimann Superspeciality Hospital in Jalandhar

Fortis Healthcare plans to acquire the 228-bed Shrimann Superspeciality Hospital in Jalandhar, Punjab, for Rs. 462 crore to strengthen its presence in the state. This acquisition will increase Fortis’ bed capacity in Punjab to over 1,000. The hospital currently has 191 operational beds, with potential expansion to over 270. Fortis already operates two hospitals in Ludhiana and one each in Amritsar and Mohali.
