Greater Bengaluru Development Roadmap Nearing Cabinet Approval Stage

A detailed development roadmap for Greater Bengaluru is nearly complete and will soon be presented to the Karnataka Cabinet. The plan aligns with the proposed Greater Bengaluru Governance Act, which seeks to replace BBMP with a new Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA). Re-division of BBMP is expected to finish by September 15, enabling GBA formation. As part of planning, officials conducted a study tour to Delhi in June to examine urban planning and waste management best practices.
