Green Hydrogen Plant Commissioned at Gorakhpur

A green hydrogen plant has been inaugurated at Khanimpur village in Gorakhpur, marking Uttar Pradesh’s first and the country’s second such facility. Developed by Torrent Gas and Torrent Power, the plant is designed with an annual production capacity of 72,000 tonnes. The facility will blend green hydrogen with compressed natural gas (CNG) and piped natural gas (PNG) for both domestic and industrial consumption.
