A Greenfield steel plant is proposed at APIIC Chittivalasa, Mandal – Ranasthalam, Srikakulam District, Andhra Pradesh. The plant will consist of 3 x 9 MVA Submerged Electric Arc Furnaces (SEAF) designed to produce either 54,000 TPA of Silico Manganese, 64,800 TPA of Ferro Manganese, or 18,000 TPA of Ferro Silicon, depending on production requirements. The facility will also feature a Sinter Plant with a capacity of 100 TPD.
