Gujarat companies announce major infrastructure investments across Chhattisgarh industrial sectors

Six Gujarat-based companies have committed Rs. 33,320 crore in new industrial projects across Chhattisgarh. Torrent Power will invest Rs. 22,900 crore in a 1,600 MW thermal power plant, while additional commitments include Rs. 200 crore from Torrent Pharmaceuticals for a pharma facility. Other proposed investments come from Onixthree Enersol, Shalby Hospitals, Sapphire Semicon, and the Mala Group. The projects span energy, healthcare, electronics, and industrial infrastructure, supporting regional capacity expansion and strengthening the state’s manufacturing ecosystem.
