Powergrid Acquires Transmission SPVs from PFCCL

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (Powergrid) has acquired two project-specific special purpose vehicles (SPVs), Sirohi Transmission Limited and Beawar-Mandsaur Transmission Limited, from PFC Consulting Limited (PFCCL). The Sirohi Transmission project will establish a new 765/400 kV substation in Rajasthan, alongside new 765kV and 400kV transmission lines. The Beawar-Mandsaur Transmission project will focus on a 765kV D/C transmission line and associated works in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Both systems are set to be commissioned within 24 months.
