Gujarat Launches ?35,000 Cr Electronics Policy

The Gujarat government has introduced the Gujarat Electronics Component Manufacturing Policy-2025 (GECMS-2025) to attract investments exceeding ?35,000 crore in the electronics manufacturing sector. Aligned with the Centres ECMS, the policy offers dual incentives for MeitY-approved projects and ensures fast-track disbursement of state subsidies. Focus areas include HDI PCBs, lithium-ion cells, SMD components, and display modules. Gujarat institutions may receive up to ?12.5 crore to establish R&D centres and finishing schools, promoting innovation and skilled workforce development.
