Gujarat Pipavav Port, has launched a Rs 3,320 crore capacity expansion project involving a new liquid jetty and marine infrastructure. The plan includes LPG/liquid berths, container berths, storage yards, railway sidings, and deeper navigation channels. L&T Geostructure and Van Oord India will handle construction, dredging, and reclamation. Once complete, the port’s capacity will reach 2.15 million TEUs for containers, six MT for dry bulk, 6.4 MT for liquid cargo, and 3,00,000 CEUs for Ro-Ro. Environmental clearance was secured in June 2025.
