Gujarat sanctions Rs. 2,609 crore for rural roads

Gujarat government has approved Rs. 2,609 crore for resurfacing and upgrading 1,258 Panchayat-managed rural roads covering 4,196 km across the state. Works include 487 roads in north Gujarat, 499 in south Gujarat, and 272 in Saurashtra.
