HOEC Resumes Drilling in Assam’s Kharsang Block

Hindustan Oil Exploration Company (HOEC) has resumed operations in the Kharsang Block of the Assam Arakan Basin by successfully drilling Well KSG-71 after a 12-year gap. The well is currently under testing, yielding about 250 barrels of oil per day, and will soon be connected for production. The project involves drilling nine development wells, with the second, KSG-72, already spudded.
