HPCL has proposed expansion of its R&D Centre through augmentation of Phase-I laboratories and construction of new buildings for the Centre of Excellence in Bitumen & Pavement Technology (COEBPT) along with allied facilities at KIADB Industrial Area, Tarabanahalli, Devanagundi, Hoskote, Bengaluru, Karnataka. The expansion proposal is under environmental appraisal.
